And I have pride in that. It feels like home, not just a neighborhood.” Dr. Hadad’s love for the island’s scenery also served as inspiration for her office’s setup, with windows facing out onto the lush landscape. “The tranquility you get from the views on Grosse Ile was something I wanted to duplicate here as well,” says Dr. Hadad.
As a way to give back, Dr. Hadad strives to support several charitable organizations through donations or sponsorship, several of which are on Grosse Ile. Dr. Hadad gives to the Grosse Ile Animal Shelter, Girl Scouts, muscular dystrophy organizations, and the Light the Night Leukemia Walk.
